Mets Split Series in Atlanta

Mets ace Jacob deGrom took the hill on Sunday night looking to bounce back from his erratic performance vs the Twins in which he allowed 3 homeruns. It wasn’t any easier for last years CY Young award winner as he served up another 2 homers to the Braves’ Nick Markakis and Josh Donaldson. deGrom threw 114 pitches and only went 5 innings allowing 3 earned and striking out 9.
Julio Teheran continued his career dominance over the Mets. Coming into Sunday nights start, Teheran owned a 2.39 ERA over 154.2 innings pitched. Teheran went 6 strong allowing only one earned run.
FINAL: Braves 7 Mets 3
